
The legendary Public Enemy emcee released the first single from his upcoming solo album, Radio Armageddon, out May 18. Also featuring Stetsasonic’s Daddy-O, it is not as explicitly political as most of the music Chuck D is usually associated with, but it is an unifying tune about bridging the generational gap in hip-hop. He gives props to the new generation of rappers and the important role in culture that they play. But it is also a reminder not to forget those who came before and helped pave the path.
