Throughout April, many anti-Trump protests have been organized in the US and across the globe. The rallies speak out against a number of the Trump administration polices and initiatives, such as attacks on LGBTQ+ rights, immigration raids, the negative economic impact of international tariffs, and the Elon Musk-led DOGE. The protests also rage against the oligarchy that enriches the billionaires while stealing from the working class.

It should be no surprise that the politically minded Boston-based Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys performed at the Hands Off Protest that took place on April 5, at Boston’s City Hall Plaza. Previously, the band also went viral on social media with a video clip of lead singer Ken Casey calling out a MAGA supporter at one of their concerts.
